Parks & Recreationhas various memorable moments and episode , but time of year 3 ’s “ The Fight ” is the good of the serial . Parks and Recreationaired on NBC from 2009 to 2015 , with a total of seven seasons in which viewers got to know some of Pawnee ’s most celebrated citizens . The episode opens with the closed book of the broken coffee simple machine , with everyone ending up charge each other and contention - only for Ron to tell the camera that it was him who broke it after it burned his mitt , so he punch it . Besides , things were commence to get “ a snatch chummy ” at the office , and a moment of action was needed ( had April not been involved in the argument , she would have praised Ron ’s move ) . Once everything is back to normal , Chris lets Ben and Leslie sleep together that they need another wellness section public relation managing director , and Leslie suggests Ann as replacement , mainly so they can spend more time together , as Ann had been dating a lot and Leslie felt go forth behind . This is the root of the Leslie vs Ann fight , as Ann agrees to hang the job interview but is n’t really interested in it , and Leslie really want her to take the business .
“ The Fight ” is also the instalment that saw the infamous Snake Juice , Tom ’s alcohol-dependent beverage . The whole section advert the launch of Snake Juice at the Snakehole Lounge , including Ann , who , according to Leslie , was presuppose to be preparing for her interview . After a few shots of Snake Juice , Leslie begins to insult Ann ’s go out modus vivendi , and Ann fight back back pick apart Leslie for moving too slow with Ben . Leslie then claim that she always has to keep Ann motivated or she would n’t go anywhere , and they make up one’s mind they should n’t knead together . Leslie and Ann ’s friendship had been pretty quiver and “ perfect ” up to this episode , and the scrap was a necessary milestone in their kinship which ultimately made it good and stronger , as they learned what the other was in truth feeling and mentation .
The essence of Snake Juice is the best bit of the episode , with the Parks Department ( except Donna and Chris ) displaying their drunk personalities : Leslie cries , Tom does n’t modify much , Ann can barely verbalise , Ben is giggly , Andy sings , April talk gibber , Ron like to trip the light fantastic , and Jerry laughs a lot . “ The Fight ” sees April ’s alter - ego , Janet Snakehole , as the “ plenteous widow with a secret ” that appeared in tardy episodes , and is the episode where Janet andAndy ’s Burt Macklinmeet . Parks & Recreation ’s “ The Fight ” is the serial ' peak clowning with a dose of drama , which helped integrate Ann better to the serial and delivered one of Leslie ’s most memorable life lessons : “ friends , waffles , and work . Or waffles , friends , work ” , but “ work is third ” .
