Tommy is almost float up by estate mines outside his house , and Bonnie Gold is mow down by the Billy Boys in the woods ( Tommy ’s novel nemesis ) .
This episode also had us shocked , and we were definitely introduced pretty viciously to the Shelby ’s new foeman . And most significantly , the Shelbys are face for the crevice in the family . This installment had us all on the edge of our seats , as if we thought we were the snitch .
The Loop (Season 5, Episode 4) - 9.1/10
Tommy partner up with the devil himself , Oswald Mosley , in this episode . This is the episode with the grand company , thrown by Thomas . That ’s ripe , ballerina , proposals , and a thrilling speech by Mosley . This episode was actually kind of funny , but emphatically had us shaken by the destruction . We really know now that Mosley was not to be mess up with , and the menage put a whole net ton of faith in Tommy ’s speculative selection . Still , this installment was mesmerizing , and it ’s not surprising it made this list .
Season 1, Episode 6 - 9.2/10
This is the only instalment from the first season to make the top 10 . In fact , it was even the time of year finale . Tommy is preparing for a big operation , but not surprisingly , things do n’t go exactly as planned . Yes , this is the episode with the notorious gunfight between the Peaky Blinders and the Kimber gang . This episode was decidedly intense , and had us all totally enthralled and our heart and soul racing . Oh yeah , there was also that weird hook - up between Campbell and a woman of the street in an Asian surface area ? We ’re not sure , really .
Heathens (Season 4, Episode 2) - 9.3/10
Season 4 has a few time slot on this tilt , so distinctly we bed every moment of it . In the second instalment , Aberama Gold introduces himself as a prominent character . This episode also admit John ’s funeral , and Michael is still in the hospital recovering from the gunfight .
Tommy hit some tough decisions in this one , and creates tension in the Shelby family . What else is raw though , right-hand ? This episode still was intriguing to its core , and manage a 9.3/10 .
Mr. Jones (Season 5, Episode 6) - 9.4/10
The newest season of this show managed to snag three slot on this leaning . understandably , this show is only getting upright . In this time of year finale , we were believably all call at our screens , right ? It ’s the night of the exchange , and Tommy has a self-colored plan he waits patiently to execute . Clearly , too patiently , because there ’s a snitch in the mix , and the plan crumbles in a murderous kind of way . We almost got to say goodbye to Oswald , but alternatively we ’re inter Aberama Gold and the poor sweet Barney . This instalment destroy us all , and we ca n’t wait for the next season . Also : if this show did n’t throw enough curve - balls , Alfie is alert , and we know you were secretly thrilled .
The Noose (Season 4, Episode 1) - 9.5/10
This is the only season premier episode to make this list . Probably , because we were all wholly blown away . It ’s Christmas , but the holiday are hack short when Tommy find a threatening letter of the alphabet . He tries to get the family to reconnect , but it ’s too tardy . There ’s another pretty dishearten ( and totally lurid ! ) expiry in this episode , and John lover had to fuddle in the towel . And let ’s not forget about Tommy slaughter the stumbler ’s assistant ! What a blinking mess . This episode was a roller - coaster . Take that 9.5 , man .
The Company (Season 4, Episode 6) - 9.5/10
The finish of this season also made the list , and this installment also had us in shambles . This is the episode with the boxing match between Goliath and Bonnie Gold . That ’s right , where Arthur pall - not - really . Tommy and the boys perpetrate together for this one , and it ’s safe to say we were all absolutely floored .
That scene in the distillery was iconic , and we ’ll never bury the look on Changretta ’s face when Tommy pull the rug out from under him . Oh yeah , Alfie is also shoot at the end of this episode , how can we possibly keep up ?
Season 2, Episode 6 - 9.6/10
Another time of year finale . Clearly , the plaster cast and gang stand out at completely destruct us before we have to wait another class . In this one , it ’s Derby twenty-four hour period . We all sleep with the one . There ’s Grace and May drama , a furtive surgical operation at the Derby , a time - sensitive program , and most importantly , the anticipated demise of Inspector Campbell . This episode was more than enthralling , and we almost could n’t keep up . Also - that cliffhanger about destroyed us ( where Tommy almost execute the plan perfectly , but kind of gets kidnapped ) , but we ’re glad Tommy makes it out alive . We ’re just a mo bitter about the wait , still , but whatever .
