After spend much of his incumbency on the show on the run after being falsely entail in Chrissy ’s ( Gace Van Dien ) death , theStranger Thingsseason 4 finalesees Eddie follow into his own as a hero . He plays his guitar in heroic way to distract Vecna , but is attacked in the mental process , ultimately buy the farm aside from his lesion in one of the show ’s most aroused moment . While it would certainly be exciting to see the character come back in season 5 , there ’s an line to be made that he should n’t be resurrected .
