Concluding the issue by making it all just a pipe dream might sound like a cop - out , but there ’s literally no other elbow room to make sense of the book . It ’s an acid misstep turned dream . Spider - Man ’s Aunt May was once the Herald of Galactus . Her time as the harbinger was weird , brief , and kind of incredible .
