REJECTED: MANNY AND SHERRY
While she seemed perfect for Manny , Sherry just have way too much tension in his life and was kind of rude and arrogant with his family . In fact , many fans found her downright intolerable . But that was kind of the period . At first , no one even believed that Manny had a girlfriend until she unexpectedly came to inhabit with them .
Then , she drove Gloria and Jay nuts . She did a terrible impersonation of Gloria that was pretty rude , and she act title even though she was a guest in their home . Thankfully , even though she break down Manny ’s centre , at least she ’s plump now .
BEHIND: HALEY AND DYLAN
The Haley and Dylan relationship is one that divide a pile of fans . There are the hater , who believe that her option to wed and have babies with Dylan is just her character lapse back to her old days . However , there are a tidy sum of Team Dylan fans out there that are well-chosen with the way thing have conk out . Dylan was Haley ’s firstboyfriend , after all .
He was always in her life . In this way , it does make sensory faculty that she would go back to him after everyone else . But he does n’t seem to be getting any smarter . At least he has a line of work , now that the two have twin baby to worry for . Hopefully , the twins are what make these two eventually develop up .
REJECTED: ALEX AND BEN
Most fans hold that this human relationship was more creepy than anything else . It makes sense for Alex to be with an older guy given her rational abilities . But a lonely grown piece who still go with his female parent and works for Claire is n’t the right pick .
Ben was just a way for Alex to publish some kind of unearthly feelings she had deep down , and most citizenry do n’t consider she actually even like him that much . Luckily , this relationship did n’t last very long and it was over with before they got too deep into anything .
BEHIND: PEPPER AND RONALDO
While these two are n’t main characters , fans could n’t serve but dear when they got together . Pepper is Mitch and Cam ’s condescending , yet uproarious , booster , while Ronaldo kind of lets Pepper boss him around .
One of the boastful reasons that fans loved Pepper and Ronaldo get together was because it was a sort of well-chosen ending for both of them . Pepper has planned over 50 gay weddings in his life-time , but never his own . He finally found his match . That ’s pure felicity .
REJECTED: LUKE AND JENNY
One of the more late relationships on the show was Luke ’s kinship with an older female member at the golf game club . During season 10 , instalment 19 , " Yes - Woman , " Claire decide to say yes more often and stop being so negative .
This backfire because she unwittingly encourages Jenny to see her younger fellow without realise it ’s her own son . It ’s just eldritch to see Luke nurture Jenny ’s daughter as if he ’s dead matured . It was also cringe - worthy to see Claire reacting to Luke ’s ab ( without realizing it was her boy , of course ) .
BEHIND: HALEY AND ARWIN
For the most part , multitude more often than not O.K. of Haley date Arwin , the older physical science professor at Alex ’s school . Despite the fact that Alex in secret had a puppy love on him , he was a comely choice for Haley because he was established and successful . It help prevent Haley from going back to her old , shallow ways and attempt to be better for herself .
lover did n’t necessarily love this relationship , but it was n’t bad for her , and with Andy go away , he was at least better for her future tense .
REJECTED: ALEX AND REUBEN
While this kinship was rummy , it was n’t good for Alex . She was always stymie by Reuben and would n’t admit she was hooking up with him . Reuben had always had a infatuation on Alex , but she find out him as a weird , dorky admirer of Luke ’s . She use him as a rebound to assist get over Sanjay , but this kinship did n’t dilute it for most fans .
Anytime they were shown together , it was just weird and awkward . as luck would have it , these two did n’t last very long .
