InLovecraft Countryseason 1 , sequence 7 , " I Am " , much of the news report focuses on Hippolyta ( Aunjanue Ellis ) , though it ’s not clear what will become of her in succeeding episodes . In the installment , Hippolyta get word that Atticus ( Jonathan Majors ) lied to her about thecircumstances surrounding George ’s ( Courtney B. Vance ) dying . After she find a tonality and a set of coordinates in the orrery , she ends up at an abandoned observation tower in whichshe chance upon Hiram ’s time machine . The sequence ends before Hippolyta stool her conclusion , and Atticus is shown come out from the portal , frantically searching for his aunt before he grab the key to the political machine and flees . Unfortunately , he leaves behind an issue of Orithyia Blue , which will likely start the authorities back to Hippolyta ’s daughter ( Jada Harris ) , redact them all in danger .
