As a resolution , I ca n’t see any of the other alternate reality getting any more bizarre than the killer wasp cosmos or the deadly computer virus worldly concern . So , there ’s only so far the show can push the exploration aspect of the story while maintainingDark Matter ’s " realistic " depiction of interdimensional travel . As a result , the focus would fall on the eccentric ' journeying home again , which has been done inDark Matterseason 1 .
