The Trade Federation’s Freedom Showed How Corrupt The Republic Had Become

The Galactic Government Did Nothing About The Invasion

The Galactic Republic ’s lackluster reception to the Trade Federation ’s obvious crime actually serve the story of the prequels in a genius way . It so understandably demonstrates that the issue facing the extragalactic nebula are systemic , ingrained in the incarnate bureaucratism present at all levels of administration . The Trade Federation get away with it , because they ’re a rich potbelly with political sway . This seems to undermine the end ofThe Phantom Menace , but truly construct up the overall story ofStar Warsin a much more pernicious and profound way .
