In the telecasting , Jones says that Eglee was n’t a fan of the Mr. Nancy / Anansi case , in finical not believing the character ’s angry posture sent a honorable message to inglorious America . Jones is plain passionate about the part and his work on the show , and he ’s also very appreciative to the show ’s original developers Gaiman , Fuller , and Green , thanking them for the chance . Still , it seems the concluding decision whether to keep Jones and his character on the show came down to Eglee , and very early on in his tenure as showrunner ( the initial dismission escort Jones pass in the video is six month prior to the announcement of Eglee ’s hiring ) , he opt to get free of them both .
